Math: Commutative and Associative Laws of Addition

Math today involved a bunch of very difficult (up to 5 places) addition problems, as well as practice just saying the large numbers that were produced. Then we practiced identifying whether equations illustrated the commutative or the associative laws of addition. (Hint: If you see parentheses, think associative.) Then we practiced adding sums with the parentheses in various places to see which was easier. Here’s Floppy checking his work:
